Macquarie Park - Serious car accident

Fire Rescue Officers worked for 90 minutes to free a male driver trapped in his car after a collision involving two cars and a truck. The incident occurred at 2.50pm on Thursday 18 February 2010 on Lane Cove Road at Macquarie Park. Ambulance paramedics worked to stabilise the trapped driver whilst Fire Rescue Officers used a range of rescue equipment to free the driver from the wreckage. Fire Rescue crews from Gordon, Ryde and Eastwood attended the incident. Traffic was disrupted for several hours during the rescue procedure.
