Computer shop fire at Bondi Junction

At 5.00am on Monday 15 February 2010, Fire Rescue Officers were called to a fire in a computer shop on Oxford Street, Bondi Junction. The crew from Bondi were on scene within just eight minutes and reported the building was well alight. The shop was within a group of four shops and there were fears the fire would spread. Thirty Fire Rescue Officers from six surrounding stations attended the incident and quickly brought the fire under control within thirty minutes. The computer shop and contents were severely damaged, whilst surrounding premises were saved.
