Factory Fire - West Gosford

Central Coast firefighters were called at about 2330 on Tuesday 8 December to a building fire in Nells Rd West Gosford. Crews from 509 Wyoming were on scene within six minutes and reported a building 40m by 20m fully involved in fire with surrounding properties threatened. Thirty Fire Rescue Officers from six stations successfully defended the surrounding properties with the fire brought under control by 0200. A 200 metre exclusion zone was maintained throughout the next day while crews cooled several acetylene cylinders which were located under parts of the collapsed structure.
