Fire at Miller Technology High School

Published: 15th October 2009

Firefighters from Busby, Bonnyrigg Heights, Horningsea Park, Liverpool, Cabramattta and St Andrews were responded to a fire at Miller Technology High School early this evening. The first crew arrived just four minutes after receiving the call and the fire was already through the roof of one of the buildings. The firefighters accessed water from the school’s booster system and attacked the fire with hoses. This quick action enabled them to cut the fire off before it could spread further. One classroom and some teacher offices were destroyed in the fire. The rest of the building suffered heat and smoke damage.
