Fire in Community Centre, Addison Rd, Marrickville

Fire crews from Marrickville, Newtown and Leichardt successfully prevented a fire from spreading to surrounding buildings in the early hours of this morning. The first crews arrived within six minutes of receiving the call and building was already totally involved in fire. However, the firefighters quickly attacked the fire with hoses, prevented its spread and extinguished it.
