House fire West Pennant Hills

In the early hours of this morning firefighters from Beecroft and Castle Hill responded to a house on fire in Maralinga Pl, West Pennant Hills. On arrival firefighters have identified smoke coming from the rear of the house. A fire was located by firefighters in a ground floor lounge room. Four occupants had evacuated prior to the arrival of the NSWFB. An aggressive attack on the fire by firefighters was able to contain the fire to two rooms of the house. Two cats were rescued from the house by firefighters and returned to their owners. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
