House fire Avalon

This afternoon firefighters from Avalon and Mona Vale responded to a house on fire in Elaine Ave, Avalon. Firefighters on arrival have discovered the basement and rear deck of a house engulfed in flames. Firefighters from Narrabeen, Dee Why, Forestville and Manly were responded to assist with this rapidly spreading fire. The fire was brought under control in a little over half an hour. Firefighters saved neighbouring houses from the large amount of heat from this fire. The cause of this fire is being investigated.
