House fire Minchinbury

This evening firefighters from Mt Druitt, St Marys and Dunheved responded numerous Triple Zero calls to a house on fire in McFarlane Dr, Minchinbury. Firefighters commenced search and rescue in the house under very difficult conditions. Neighbours were unsure if there was anyone at home at the time. Searching confirmed that no one was in the house, moments before the roof started to collapse. The house was substantially damaged in the blaze. The cause is being investigated.
