House fire Tregear

This morning firefighters responded to a house fire in Bransfield St, Tregear. Firefighters from Dunheved and Mt Druitt arrived within seven minutes to find the front section of the house well alight. St Marys firefighters were also responded due to the number of Triple Zero calls received. All the occupants had self evacuated prior to the arrival of the NSWFB. A small child had suffered burns to her feet, and was treated by firefighters prior to the arrival of the Ambulance Service. All occupants were transported to hospital by ambulance suffering smoke inhalation. Firefighters quickly brought the fire under control. Fire investigators are looking into the cause.
