School fire Baulkham Hills

This morning firefighters from Northmead, Castle Hill and Beecroft were called to a school fire in Redmond Ave, Baulkham Hills. On arrival firefighters identified smoke coming from the second storey of a school industrial arts block. All 880 students and staff had already been evacuated and accounted for. Firefighters quickly extinguished a fire in a dust extraction unit. The entire building had been affected by smoke which the firefighters removed using portable petrol driven fans.
