House fire in Claymore

This evening crews from St Andrews, Campbelltown responded to a house fire in Dobell Rd, Claymore. Firefighters arrived within seven minutes to find a two level terrace house well alight. Crews were faced with extreme fire and smoke conditions and were very quick to bring the fire under control and stop the fire spreading to adjoining houses. The terrace house was severely damaged by fire and sadly two pet dogs were killed in the fire. Additional crews from Rosemeadow and Chester Hill assisted at the incident. The cause of the fire is being investigated by Fire Brigades and Police investigators.
