Person trapped under a tram in Haymarket Sydney

At lunchtime today firefighters from the City and Campsie responded to assist Police rescue a man trapped under a tram in Hay St, Haymarket. Ambulance officers stabilised the victim and emergency workers had to use 20 tonne air bags to lift the tram vertically and release the victim. He was treated on scene and then transported to hospital for further observation.
