Unit fire in Manly

This evening firefighters from Manly and Dee Why responded to a unit fire in Darley Rd, Manly. Crews arrived within five minutes to find a fire in the bedroom of a second floor unit. Firefighters were quick to confine the fire to the bedroom and extinguish the fire. One male person was removed by residents suffering minor burns, he was treated by Ambulance officers on scene and was later transported to hospital for further observation.
