House fire in Cromer

This afternoon firefighters from Dee Why and Narrabeen responded to a house fire in Grover Ave Cromer. Large volumes of smoke were observed by crews on rout and more assistance was called. On arrival crews found a two level house with flames through the roof. Firfighters commenced a fire attack and search and rescue. No persons were found and firefighters were able to rescue one dog. Firefighters from Forestville and the Inspector from Crows Nest also attended. The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
