Unit Fire in Dulwich Hill

Late this afternoon firefighters from Marrickville and Ashfield responded to a unit fire in Terrace Rd, Dulwich Hill. Crews arrived within seven minutes to find a two level unit in a complex of ten well alight. The fire was quickly brought under control and prevented from spreading to adjoining premises. A search revealed no persons trapped and two people were safely evacuated. Firefighters were assisted by crews from Glebe, Campsie, Leichhardt and Newtown.
