Katoomba house fire

At dawn on Saturday firefighters from Katoomba, Leura, Blackheath and the Inspector from Katoomba responded to a house fire in Katoomba St in the Blue Mountains. Crews arrived within seven minutes to find a single level cottage on fire with flames through the roof. Firefighters commenced an aggressive fire attack to stop the fire spreading and a search revealed no persons were trapped. The fire was extinguished within forty five minutes and Fire investigators are determining the cause.
