Motor vehicle accident in Cammeray

Earlier this evening firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident on the north bound lanes of the Warringah Fwy in Cammeray. Firefighters arrived within seven minutes to find a two car accident with one car well alight. Crews from Neutral Bay and Crows Nest were quick to bring the fire under control and extinguish the fire but despite their efforts one person died in the fire. They were assisted by crews from the Rocks and Willoughby, with police assisting with traffic and ambulance officers treating other injuries.
