House Fire Penrith

Numerous Triple Zero (000) calls were received this evening to a fire in a house in Illawong Avenue, Penrith. Firefighters from Penrith and Cranebrook responded to the fire with the first crews on scene in eight minutes. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus quickly contained and extinguished the. A thermal imaging camera was used to check for fire spread. There were no reported injuries. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
