House Fire in Liverpool

Numerous Triple Zero (000) calls were received this evening to a fire in a house in Munyang Street, Liverpool. Firefighters from Busby, Bonnyrigg Heights, rescue firefighters from Liverpool and the Duty Commander responded to the fire with the first crews on scene in five minutes. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus contained and extinguished the fire which was in an abandoned house. A thermal imaging camera was used to check for fire spread. There were no reported injuries. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
