Car fires in Dee Why

Numerous Triple Zero (000) calls were received early this morning to a fire in a garage in Holborn Street, Dee Why. Firefighters from Dee Why, Narrabeen and rescue firefighters from Narrabeen responded with the first crews on scene in five minutes. One car was on fire in a garage. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire when they were noticed another fire across the road. Firefighters from Dee Why wearing breathing apparatus proceeded to the second house where they were faced with two cars alight, which were quickly extinguished. There were no reported injuries and the causes of the fires are being investigated.
