Aircraft Collision

This evening two light aircraft collided at Bankstown airport. Rescue firefighters from Bankstown, Burwood, along with firefighters from Revesby, Chester Hill, and specialist hazmat firefighters from Greenacre responded with the Duty Commander to the scene. Firefighters arrived to find two light aircraft had collided whilst taxiing on the runway. A small amount of damage was sustained to both aircraft however there was no spillage of fuel. One person suffered shock and was treated on the scene by ambulance personnel.
