Gas and water leak - Victoria Road, Bellevue Hill

04:30 hours 29/05: Firefighters completed duties on site. Area returned to Sydney Water for ongoing management. Traffic detours remain in place. Incident closed.20:51 hours - A gas and water leak on Victoria Road, Bellevue Hill has caused subsidence of the roadway, creating a hole approx 20mx30m. No evacuations are required at this stage and residents are advised to remain in their properties. Two fire engines, a hazmat truck and the duty commander are on scene. Police are on scene for traffic management.
