Truck alight in Factory

This afternoon fire crews from Busby, Horningsea Park, Bonnyrigg Heights, Liverpool and the Duty Commander responded to a fire in a factory complex in Yarrawa Street, Prestons. Firefighters found smoke pouring out of the factory upon arrival. The fire involved a B-Double truck which was parked in the loading dock. Quick actions by fire-fighters with the assistance of the installed sprinkler system contained the fire to the prime mover and first trailer. Fire crews ventilated the unit and carried out clean up work minimising further damage.
