Shop Alight Darlinghurst

Firefighters from Darlinghurst, City of Sydney, Redfern, Pyrmont, The Rocks, Glebe along with extended ladder platform vehicle from Darlinghurst, hazmat specialists from Alexandria and the Duty Commander responded to a fire in a two storey shop on Oxford Street, Darlinghurst early this evening. Fire crews were on scene in four minutes to find a fire on the second floor of the building. Fire crews wearing breathing apparatus quickly contained and extinguished the fire. Both levels of the building were severely damaged in the fire and the cause is under investigation.
