Gas Leak

Numerous Triple Zero (000) calls were received this morning to a gas leak at Bland Street, Ashfield. Firefighters from Ashfield arrived within eight minutes followed by crews from Leichhardt and Hazmat crews from Alexandria. The hazmat crews took atmospheric readings to check that the area was safe. Once deemed safe, the area was handed over to gas company representatives.
